Today Marks the 71st Death Anniversary of Quaid-I-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah
Today we observe Muhammad Ali Jinnah's, 71st death commemoration in all across Pakistan.
He was born on December 25th 1876, and served as leader of the All-India Muslim League from 1913 until Pakistan's creation on August 14, 1947. He was the first governor general of Pakistan until his death on 11 September 1948.
Different programs have been created in order to put light on the character and vision of Quaid Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah by academic institutions and political, cultural and social organizations.
In the mausoleum of Quaid in Karachi, Quran Khawani and Fateh would be held. People from various walks of life will attend the mausoleum to spot a floral wreath on the tomb. The tomb will also be visited by Governor Imran Ismail and Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Murad Ali Shah.
Television and radio channels also perform special programs, and newspapers publish special editions to show several elements of Muhammad Ali Jinnah's life as a Quaid-I-Azam and his exceptional political struggle.
