The Park and Horticulture Start Campaign to Beautify Rawalpindi

Rawalpindi: A media article has lately announced the Parks and Horticultural Authority (PHA) initiative for the renovation of Rawalpindi from 25 July. The campaign is called "Join Hands with PHA for the revival of Rawalpindi"
Asif Mehmood, President of PHA, asked the young people to assist this campaign to be successful. He said that youthful volunteers are with us to embellish the town and made it clean and green again. The initiative aims at making the town beautiful and at the same time inculcating a sense in the citizen about social responsibility

At the end of the campaign, all volunteers will be certified by PHA. A plan for the beautification project was put forward at the conference of the PHA members of the authority.
The scheme involves a training introduction for individuals, training workshops on various social questions, a plant distribution week, Cleanliness Campaign Wall Memorial Week, etc.
Like Pawalpindi initiative has been taken in Peshawar. The Cleanliness campaign will begin at Lake Mahodand, Saiful Malook.
The media outlet revealed that a mega campaign was launched to clean several Khyber Pakhtunkhwa tourist sites including Lake Mahodand and Lake Saiful Malook. The local government minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa advised the concerned officials and departments to guarantee cleanliness in regions receiving tourists.
In this respect, Naran Municipal Authority put waste bins on Lake Mahodand and Lake Saiful Malook. A devoted sanitary camp was also established at around this area. The Minister has also advised everyone who litters these spots to be strictly treated.
In addition, the media report showed that the Kaghan Development Authority (KDA) worked closely with the departments to ensure clean tourist sites. In this context, a group of several medicine employees participated in Khwaja Faheem Sajjad's Cleanliness project, supervised by KDA Project Director.
The officials also put the trash cans on tourists’ sites on these routes in Swat, Kama and Palagama Glacier. In addition, boards and hoardings have also been mounted by officials to guarantee cleanliness in these areas.
