Army Is Devoted for Country’s Defence: Gen Bajwa
ISLAMABAD: General Qamar Javed Bajwa, the Chief of Army Staff, said that the country's armed forces are firmly ready in defending the motherland, but with the support from the nation.
The Directorate of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported on Tuesday that Army chief addressed participants of the National Security and war course at the National Defense University (NDU) in Islamabad.
The Army Chief emphasized that the complete range of challenges demands comprehensive national response and that Pakistan Army is completely committed to enabling this response in coordination with other state institutions and highlighting internal and external challenges to national security.
General Qamar Javed Bajwa has been welcomed personally by Lieutenant General Aamer Riaz, President of National Defense University.
One day ago, the army chief had confirmed the Chinese-Pakistan Economic Corridor's military support for security, a key project under the China Belt and Road Initiative.
