PM Imran Applauds the success of “Pakistan Citizens Portal”
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan praised the efficiency of a Pakistan Citizens Portal on Tuesday and said that in just eight months more than one million people have filed their requests.
“As of today, over 1 million citizens have registered at Pakistan
Citizens Portal within 8 months of its launch. This is a testament
to people’s trust in the system and its effectiveness. No political
or bureaucratic reference required to reach out to a public
The prime minister said in his tweet.
He further added that “On the resolution front: a total of 6,80,000
complaints were resolved out of 8 lakh complaints registered so far.
This is a true citizen's empowerment. This is Naya Pakistan!”
Launched on October 28th, the Pakistan Citizens Portal App aims to solve nationals issues through the Portal. People can complain directly and the problem would resolve within a time frame.
From 4,646 mobile apps in 87 nations, the Citizen Portal app has been chosen from the top three applications. At the meeting, which was visited by prominent politicians from around the globe including PM Imran, it has proclaimed it a second-best app in the ' Best Citizen Service Delivery Competition. '
