Under Naya Pakistan Housing Project: 32,000 Houses Approved For KP

Peshawar: The Chief Minister of KP Mahmood Khan approved construction of houses for Peshawar, Hangu and Swat. The houses will be of low-cost.

 

The CM approved it during a conference conducted on Tuesday in Peshawar at the Chief Minister' s House. The meeting was attended by Special Assistant Iftikhar Durrani, Mininster for Communication and Works Akbar Ayub and Provincial Minister Amjad Ali.

The province will build these houses in the framework of the Naya Pakistan Housing Program (NPHP), which include Peshawar (20,000 units), Hangu (9,000 units) and Swat (3,000 units).

 

He also instructed the involved officials within 20 days to carry out a feasibility study for Peshawar Housing scheme and 10 days for Swat and Hangu housing schemes.

 

The NPHP is a nationwide project under which the federal government will provide individuals with low-cost homes.
