Licenses of Using CDA Land for Business Cancelled
Islamabad: On Friday, DMA cancelled all temporary permits for traders and businessmen that previously allowed state land use for business purposes, reports a news source. As a response to a formal request from the Capital Development Authority (CDA), DMA has cancelled its license under the orders of the Islamabad Metropolitan Corporation (MCI).
Faisal Naeem, director of CDA Building Control director, informed about the fact that a number of individuals operating in a CDA land had not approved it from the planning wing.
In response, all such licenses were cancelled by the Director.
Shafi Marwat, Director of DMA, said that all traders who had not sought permission to set up their companies on CDA land were cancelled in accordance with a Directorate.
The DMA had previously granted CDA land licenses to the trader and businessmen to establish their business in F-6, F-7, F-8, and F-10 sectors among others.
