Swat Motorway will be open for the public before Eid-ul Fitr. KP Chief Minister orders
Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister (CM) Mahmood Khan has finally ordered to open the Swat Motorway for traffic before Eid-ul- Fitr, news reported.
He said this during a meeting held for the Swat Motorway extension project phase-III which will be from Mingora to Bagh Dheri.
All the concerned persons, Minister Construction & Works Akbar Ayyub, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Shahab Ali Shah, Secretary C&W, and were also present at the meeting.
The Chief Minister said that he will personally take care of the project and will pay a visit to the motorway site. He further declared in the meeting that Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan will inaugurate the project after Eid-ul-Fitr.
He stated that for both local and international tourists, the Swat motorway would be a point of focus. He added that the project will not only bring immediate advantages but also offers huge prospects for transport, communication and tourism development departments in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
