Chaudhary Nisar Ends His Association with the PML-N

- Nisar closes his door of PML N leadership
- He raised questions on the current Government performance
- He also said that PM was misguided about the oil reserves in the country
TAXILA: On Sunday Chaudhry Nisar Ali former interior minister and veteran politician Khan ended the uncertainty concerning his association with Pakistan's Muslim League-Nawaz and announced his parting ways with the party of more than 35 years.
“I am not part of PML-N anymore.” Addressing a press conference at Wah Cantonment, he declared:
Chaudhry Nisar said he had decided this on his will and conscience. “I have been part of the PML-N for a long time. I do politics of honor, not of power,” he added.
Former minister blames govt and opposition responsible for political chaos.
The decision took on the differences and issues with many senior leaders of PML-N which had not been resolved.
“I have said many times I am not anymore a part of the PML-N”.
The former federal minister informed the media that a conspiracy was taken place to weaken the country multiple fronts.
PML-N local leader Sheikh Sajidur Rehman and Zeeshan Saeed were present in his press conference.
Chaudhry Nisar asked about Tehreek-i-Insaf's performance and said it had no policy on solving the country's problems and relieving poor people.
He said the PTI government should take measures for providing some relief to the poor.
Chaudhry Nisar who had won a seat of the provisional assembly in general elections of 2018, but had not taken the oath of it with saying, it would be sheer hypocrisy if he took the oath of the provincial assembly’s seat.
He said it would not be justified for him as an elected member of the provincial assembly to raise questions about the National Assembly's performance.
He said Prime Minister Imran Khan would have to be held responsible for making false claims concerning the discovery of the country's oil reserves.
Chaudhry Nisar, who himself was a federal minister for petroleum in the past, said Mr Khan was misled about the discovery of oil reserves in the Arabian Sea.
