Punjab Finance Minister Emphasized the Need for Development All Around Punjab
Lahore: Punjab Minister of Finance, Makhdoom Hashim Bakht, stressed the need for all districts of Punjab to be developed, a news source said.
The Minister, speaking to the members of the 25th Senior Administration Course, has stated that Punjab is the largest contributor to GDP.
He Said That for All Districts the Good Performance Is Essential
Reported the efforts, the government is focusing on providing missing facilities to small towns and the less developed regions of the province that has increased the urbanization in Punjab.
The priority is also given to small and medium-sized enterprises and the cottage industry. The Minister noted that Punjab growth will depend on agriculture for the next five years, so the government pays due attention to the sector.
To that end, the government has developed a term strategy to help it carry out air surveys and monitor the agricultural potential and challenges available to the Province.
The Minister said that this will assist authorities in developing better development policies and programs.
