Orange Line: Is It A'Yes' or 'No'?

So, the first question that people usually ask is what makes Lahore, LAHORE? Some people say it's the food, culture and historical places, but do not forget about its messy traffic! Lahore is the second most populous city in Pakistan with a population of above 11 million. Lahore is also the largest Punjabi city in the world and its traffic is a real mess indeed.
Day by day, several developments took place in the city to deal with the messy traffic. The overhead bridges, electronic ticketing, one-way roads and metro buses hold a big name in this list. There's another project which has been launched by our Government under the name of Orange Line Metro Train Transit System. This project is commonly mentioned as a CPEC China Pakistan Economic Corridor.
It is said that the Orange Line Train can handle about 250,000 passengers on daily basis. The orange line train will cover the 27.1-kilometer-long distance in only 45 minutes and its track will connect Raiwind to Multan Road and it will go towards McLeod Road.

Why Yes?
The Orange Line Train will help to reduce all the traffic noise. This train will also help us to breathe, as this train releases no smoke and it will make the environment less polluted. This service will also help students to reach their destination on time.
This facility will also provide tourists to enjoy their vacations without facing traffic jams. This project is also a blessing for blue-collar workers because these services provide employment to such workers. Even the road accidents in the city are also expected to be decreased after the completion of this project.
Why No?
The orange line routes have also affected the property rates. Many people have lost their homes because of this project as the government has demolished their house, considering them a hurdle in their way. Massive demolition of buildings has also caused air pollution and it's one the major cause of smog.
People are facing a lot of difficulties from this construction at this time, but we hope that the completion of this project will end up with amazing results.
